FAQ

Where is it from?

Miracle Fruit is a Tropical plant which grows natively in Ghana, west Africa, although it can be grown elsewhere in the correct conditions.

What does it do?

It contains a special protein which binds to your taste buds and makes foods and drinks that are bitter or sour taste sweet. It really is an unbelievable sensation.

How Long does it Last?

15mins to 2 Hours (max). normally around 30minutes.

What is the Nutritional information and instructions?

How Are the Tablets Made?

Close Up of Miracle Fruit Plant - Taste Trip Plant

The process of the Tablets goes like this :

In Taiwan under strict Taiwanese hygiene conditions, miracle fruit is grown and harvested. It is then freeze dried under strict Hygiene conditions (it has to be strict due to being sold in the Japanese and Taiwanese market). At this stage the outcome is exactly the same as people selling Our Miracle Berry Fruit Plants being GrownGranules, only THIS product has been prepared using Industry Standard Regulations (of taiwan), so the product is actually as pure as possible.

Then the granules/powder are compressed along with a small amount of corn starch (which acts as a binding agent),  using a 30tonne or more tablet pressing machine which compresses the granules into tablets which you purchase. They are then placed in Vacuum sealed packets, packaged and Sent to a very few limited chosen distributors.

Effect is the same as the granules.

Is it Safe?

The fruit has no known side effects and has been used in Africa for thousands of years. It has also been sold on the Japanese market for around 2 years. But as this product has not been classified by the EU we cannot be held liable for any damage caused, so you use this product at your own risk.

Why are we only just hearing about this now?

In 1974(ish) the FDA placed a ban on its sale in the USA. There are many conspiracy theories behind this, the main one is that the sugar companies of the time didn't want it to be released. It cannot be sold as a sweetener but it can be sold as a dietary supplement.

Do you guarantee our safety?

Unfortunately we cannot, but this fruit is being sold all over the world with no known negative effects.
